Yesterday I turned 76. My family and friends started my celebrations last Saturday and it has gone on all week. Everyone fed me...not just with food but with love. One grandson ask me what birthday I remembered most and I told him my 10th. Our parents told us early on that would be our only big celebration and mine sure was. How about you? What was your most memorable birthday celebration?
Happy 76th Birthday you inspire me with your joie de vivre. I remember the joy of us receiving a first swing set, the sadness of telling my dad I never wanted this party to end. As a 5 year old I thought my dad would know what to do about this problem.

My 30th was most memorable. I had dinner at the Carnelian Room on the 52 floor of the Bank of America building in San Francisco. This fabulous place has been closed for years.
Then we went to a baseball game and had the best seats ever. Great birthday.
Have a fabulous day and weekend. ♥
Happy happy happy birthday my friend. I am glad to read that you have the love of family and friends and that all of you celebrated.
ReplyDeleteHappy 76th. Ah to be 76 again:) So happy you have enjoyed such a wonderful and long celebration.
ReplyDeleteCan't remember a best --they were all special.
Happy Happy Happy Birthday!!!!!! Lots of hugs!
ReplyDeleteA very, very happy belated birthday to you. Being fed with love sounds perfect.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteMy best birthday was #60. My husband threw me a wonderful party. My granddaughter was 6 and was very upset that the cake said 39 AGAIN because it was a lie.
Happy Birthday from all of us!!!! My most memorable was my 31st. I was expecting a big party for my 30th and it never happened...but my wife surprised my with a party on my 31st including the band Wild Cherry!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! Most memorable for me? The day I turned eight, mum had left us the night before, taking my siblings, and I woke to not even a birthday card. I got over it.
ReplyDeleteI doubt you ever got over it. How very sad.
DeleteHappy B'day! My most semi-memorable one is whenever my family celebrates my b'day on my actual b'day. My b'day is near Memorial Day weekend, which is usually the official kick off to the camping season. So it often gets ignored. Like this year.
ReplyDeleteWishing you many happy returns of the day!
ReplyDeleteMy memories are not good ones, so i no longer celebrate my birthday, i just celebrate other people's.
It would be my 70th when the kids all came from the mainland and we could celebrate with friends and family.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Annie!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday! I think my 21st birthday was the most memorable, in fact I can't really remember any others. We had tickets for a dance at a local ballroom & my Dad got me up to dance a quickstep. Have to say I had no idea how to do it as pop music was what I danced to. Sadly it's the only time I ever danced with him.
