BREAKING NEWS by Granny Annie
The members of the forestry service were task to remove the bark from a small group of trees. They had the use of a barking drum to get the work done. One of the workers wandered out of the designated area and they found he was barking up the wrong tree. They had not choice but to cut down this tree. The tree fell and a bundle bounced out. The workers carefully opened the bundle and inside they found terrifying human remains of an arm and a leg.
OMG! you are so creative. Great story.
ReplyDeleteI did look up a barking drum and it does exist. The arm and a leg add a bit of mystery and make it more than a bit spooky. Well done.
ReplyDeleteLove how you used the prompts.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ♥
Wow that was a bit scary. Good job.
ReplyDeleteA scary and very good story!
ReplyDeleteThis is REALLY good! I want to know the rest of the story. How on earth did the arm and leg get up there? who and why and when? Will the per get caught? Will the victim be identified?
ReplyDelete"per"? I meant perp as in perpetrator.
