QUESTION OF THE WEEK - 11-29-2021

What was your worst vacation? best vacation?

  1. General worst is any family vacation I've been forced into.

Best has been the last one taken in 2016, because my health has taken a gentle nosedive, thus not having the tolerance to take my usually type (driving) vacation.

  2. Don't really have a worst but have had a ton of bests. Too many to list.

  3. I ask the question but can't think of any bad ones. I will always remember our family vacation when I was 8 years old and we went to Chicago, Michigan and Canada.

  4. Many bests but I think of the trip to China...wonderful and the most recent right before the Pandemic! Worst...probably my visits home after being overseas and listening to my Mother complain the whole time.

  5. I've never had a horrible vacation. I've had lots of wonderful vacations. I'm going to say our trip to Miami Florida for the bloggers cruise was my favorite. I got to meet lots of blogging buddies and that was wonderful.

Have a fabulous day and week. ♥

  7. Antarctica was the best. I still hug the memories close to myself.

  8. Worst was on the way to visit family in FL and waking up in a motel in OK where overnight spraying had killed cockroaches. Their dead bodies were littering the hallway! Best is all the rest I've taken. Someday I hope to have more bests.

  10. Can't think of a worst. There have been a few unexpected events on vacations, but no overall worst.

The best had to be the last trip to Disney World, it was a blast.

  12. 1951--- First family camping trip ever! Set up camp in Yellowstone National Park. Bears came. Bears opened the trunk of the car. Bears ate peanut butter out of the jar. Bears prevented my father from heading to the... Well, you know. We packed up and left in the morning. The rest of the trip feature motels and swimming pools. Actually it was a pretty good vacation.

  14. Oh wait, I went to Western Australia for a week to visit with my brother and sister-in-law. That was fun.
