Yes but he was harmless. When I worked at a bank, he waited in the parking lot everyday to watch me leave. My friends would notice and say "Looks like your puppy dog is back." He always came to my window and I finally accepted a date from him to a rock concert. Somehow I think he thought the chase was more fun than the catch for he drifted away much to both our relief.
ReplyDeleteI was followed by a man in Italy in 1969, and another man in 1976. Both scary events, but I survived.
ReplyDeleteNo. I've been fortunate with that. I'm a rather strong personality and I think most guys would think twice. After all I was a cop for 25 years.

ReplyDeleteUnknowingly and found out later. I know the stalker and wasn't afraid or creeped out, but if I'd caught her the Police would have been called. She's a troublemaker.
ReplyDeleteYes, at a job once til my friend Sharon (RIP girl) told him we are conduting business here sir, my friend told you she was married now skaddle! He said do you have a sister?? Sharon said O U T ! My husband offered to run him over in the crosswalk but I said that was a bad idea I think he was just a lonely old guy who liked young women. Then I had a "friend" and she was a total busybody and always trying to tell me what to do and giving me on advice on things she knew nothing about. She once sat outside our house, like she was with the FBI or something. My hubby works for good lawyers, he wanted to call the police. Other women from our group said she did the same thing to them. Weird or terribly lonely.One lady said she walked into her unlocked backdoor at sat at the kitchen table. when I think about it now, I think she may have been a little off her rocker. Very sad. The older guy was just looking for love. HaHaHa
ReplyDeleteYes. We had a convicted rapist who was on parole stalking all of us in the house we lived in at college. Between our reports and others, he was finally busted for breaking parole and hauled back to prison. It was quite scary.
