I have an extensive and eclectic play list but the song I listen to almost every morning is One Day At a Time by Meriam Bellina. Kind of makes it all doable.
Whichever one is my current favourite. From older songs, I do like "Old dogs, Children and Watermelon Wine",, I forget who sings it, and "Mull of Kintyre" by Paul McCartney and Wings
However did you hear that old song by The Foundations? Haven't heard it in donkeys ages.
I can't pick a favourite song just too many lovely ones from the past.
Don't listen to music now, I do like the peace & quiet when the house is quiet after constant telly stuff droning on I get control and can switch it off! It's sad as I have tons of CDs. My granddaughter saw them a few weeks ago & asked why on earth I have them when you can just stream music. To be truthful I liked the days of the vinyl 78s with their beautiful photographs & arty covers. I like something tangible for my money & won't pay for telly subscriptions or music streaming.
