Would you rather live without the internet or live without AC and heating?

  3. I live in the central valley of California and it's going to be 102 degrees today. You can have the Internet. I'll keep the air and heat.

  4. Even though I grew up for a while in an un-AC home and our winters are mild enough that having no heat would be doable except for about 4 weeks of the year, in an either or situation I would keep the AC over the internet.

  10. We've done without both A/C and heat before, although it's awful. Maybe i'd give up internet at home and have to go to the library for it!

  12. Now that a large percentage of our TV viewing is actually from the internet--- that coupled our photography and my music blog make the net pretty important. Luckily I don't have to choose.

    I enjoy having internet access but it’s not essential - heating is (cooling maybe not so…)
