Neighbours who sleep all day then get around noisily visiting each other or fighting just when I'm about to fall asleep. Or a day when I've done nothing to physically tire myself so I can't fall asleep and sit up reading instead.
Usually I sleep well, but some nights i can't, but there seems to be no attributable reason. I usually get up and read for a while and when the lines on the page start to merge I close the book and lie down on the sofa. At least I get three or four hours sleep that way.
Stupid things I should never dwell on for they usually work out just fine the next day or so.

Cruelty is a biggie and it is what keeps me from listening to the news. Seems like headlines are always about cruel treatment of others.
DeleteUltimately i think it's the fact that my body gave up sleep for Lent, and can't seem to be convinced that Lent is over.
ReplyDeleteWhat? Giving up sleep for Lent? Now I have never heard of that. Also, I could never do that. Sleep is my reward for making it through another day.

ReplyDeleteYes, he will be gone soon but they are going to have to pry him kicking and screaming out of the White House. Never have we seen such things.
