If 100 people in your age group
were selected randomly,
how many do you think they’d find
leading a happier life than you?
Happiness is defined differently by everyone. Very specific parameters would have to be drawn regarding what makes one happy. That said, I would guess I would come out somewhere in the middle with just as many people happier or unhappier than I am depending on what time of day they were surveyed lol.
That's a hard question to answer. Happiness is a very subjective state. I have everything I need... but some extra discretionary income would be nice ;)
Thinking of Mark Manson's comments on happiness. It is fleeting. "Happiness comes from solving problems (Manson.)" I agree. So, maybe there are about 50 people happier than I am! I have PLENTY (more than most) of problems to work on solving daily!!! Christians believe that happiness comes from pleasing God. This, I can most assuredly grapple with daily. (Again, my pilgrimatic journey when it comes to this one is slow and steady...)
Zero!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(LOL - how would I know?) I liked my answer tho.

Oh gosh, I don't know. Frankly, I am past trying to keep up with the Jones'. ;)
Boy, guess I would have to define happiness and I am sure with my group of friends it has become good health. I am guessing more than I think!!
No matter what our individual circumstances, we all have a range of unhappiness. I'm pretty happy overall and in that group of 100 there might be 10 who are happier than I. Of course at the age of 71 I might be confusing contentment with happiness.
That is a how long is a piece of string question. It depends.
I think a lot of people are happier than I am, but I'm not unhappy at all. This is a tough one. :)
Not too many I'd think. I lead a pretty stressless, contented life. It would be perfect if I could find someone to do my weeding for me:))
Tough question, I would say maybe 10
That is a how long is a piece of string question. It depends. Mostly somewhere in the middle, sometimes towards the top, sometimes (more rarely) in the depths of despair.
I'm not sure. We all have an unreasonable expectation of happiness that we want to match that of a novel, movie, or even fairy tale. Happiness is not something I feel on an immediate level, but looking back over my life I must confess that happiness outweighs the opposite.
Happiness is relative and hinges on things or events that make one feel good for however long or short a time. Weddings for example. I would think it might be easier to find out how many people are contented with their current lifestyle.
I
don't even think I could venture a guess. I consider myself pretty
happy and I hope the 100 people would be just as happy. (Rob)
I'm happy, I can't speak for the others.
I am really a happy and fortunate person. I hope everybody reading this is too.
Depends
on the day. Depends on the hour. This past week I would have said 99
people would have been happier. Other times I feel so content and at
peace I would say that I am happier than most.
