Do you like partying?
Attending parties?
Giving parties?
How about "observing parties" from a great distance?

- The most enjoyable thing I do at work is organizing "parties", meetings, events...etc. I do like hosting them.

- I hate attending parties unless I'm the dj, because I get to hide
behind the decks, play great music, watch people dance but I don't have
to do boring small talk with anyone. :D

- I don't mind boring small talk - or boring big talk - and I do
enjoy parties. When I was younger, I didn't, because I had no
self-confidence. I was embarrassed for myself - but not now that I have
reached a certain age.

Thanks for the blog visit. And just why wouldn't you attend the events??? You'd meet nice people and have a good time, in spite of yourself.

- Small parties, occasionally. I don't like giving them, I'm just not good at it.
Most of my family and friends are terrific party givers, and fantastic cooks. I missed that gene.

- Unlike the previous commenter, who posted spam, I do not like
attending, participating or planning a party. I would rather observe
from a great distance. Less heartache and disappointment. Last party I
planned, people who said they would come, blew me off. Took me many,
many months to get over it.

oooo like this post! Parties, enjoy live dancing n guitar playing at them best! dinners not so much - weddings, a blast!

I kind of like hosting parties...but few and far between as I have
gotten older with less stamina. Going to parties takes a lot of
courage for me, unless the people there are very young friends of mine.

ReplyDeleteIt depends on what kind of party it is. I'm looking forward to niece Amanda's wedding reception, which will be a nice outdoor party - lots of family, friends and good food. I don't like small talk cocktail parties. I host small dinner parties, but find them exhausting - so just do it a couple of times a year.
ReplyDeleteThe only parties I enjoy are the ones that evolve organically when a bunch of chums get together.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, not much. I enjoy occasional family festivities, and gatherings of fewer than 12 friends at someone's home, but anything more than that is something I'd rather avoid.
