Not an actual picture of the cookies. The easy cookies don't brown quite as much. |
Have you been blessed with this recipe for quick and easy peanut butter cookies? Also let me say they are delicious. Best when frozen...I kid you not. Excellent for those who look for gluten free foods.
1 cup of peanut butter
1 cup of sugar
1 egg
Stir ingredients until well blended. Roll mixture into balls (12 or 18). Place on baking sheet and press down with fork in crisscross on each. Bake 10 - 12 minutes at 350. Cool well and eat warm or freeze and eat one as needed which is often:-)
Need I mention these are very very rich? That is why I freeze them and ration them.
I freeze our sweets almost always. Otherwise hubby would have polished them off in days!
ReplyDeleteThat is an interesting recipe. I do like a peanut butter cookie.
ReplyDeleteA great new way to eat peanut butter. I'm there.
ReplyDeleteI have company coming in June and I definitely will try these.
ReplyDeleteWow.
ReplyDeleteThey would be very popular here. And wont be made until I no longer resemble the Michelin Man.
My goodness! And no flour! I love crunchy peanut paste (we call it "paste" down this way)...
ReplyDeleteThat is the same recipe that I use. I don't make them often because they are so good!
ReplyDeleteIt looks easy!
ReplyDeleteThey look really good. I'm not a peanut butter fan, too many PBJ's when I was a kid.
ReplyDeleteYes, those are really easy. I had just made a batch of them the day before you posted this. To me, they taste more like fudge than cookies. Thank you for your comment about the tornado. I used to live in Corn, just west of Weatherford.
ReplyDeleteOh, my goodness. I'm going to have to try this. I still dream about the peanut butter cookies they used to serve in my junior high school cafeteria. I've never been able to recreate the deliciousness of those cookies. I'll let you know if I like them.
ReplyDeleteYum!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a huge fan of peanut butter cookies, but those look scrumptious.
