Neena, today in my sisters Christmas card she had enclosed a letter she found that I wrote to our Father in 1989. I was so pleased to know that I had told my dad my feelings about his leadership in my search for my faith.
LL COOL JOE. I gave birth to my two children and I was divorced from their father when they were three and four years old. Some people might ask if I regretted the marriage but I never did because it resulted in my two wonderful children. I know what you mean about being thankful for your girls birth mothers. Our kids are so great aren't they!
My church has a devotional booklet and my devotional is printed today - I wrote advent and a gift I received - the gift of a little girl's caring. Will email it to you.
My eleven year old daughter bought me a pewter angel with the word Hope inscribed on it. I had just been diagnosed with breast cancer. I still keep it close to me.
When I sense that a gift was made or chosen with love, it is my best gift at that moment. Perhaps then I should say that the gift of love is my favorite. Annie, I hope your holidays are filled with love.
It has to be my first born when all at once everything made sense. The second was lovely too but nothing can compare with the first time you see that magical gift.
I know people are not supposed to give puppies for Christmas, but my best gift was a puppy.

ReplyDeleteJAN I received a puppy also. I was 8 years old and it was a Christmas present from my grandparents. A golden Cocker Spaniel and I named her Ginger
