Here is my greatest expertise and I wish I weren't so good at it:-)

 

TURN THE CORNER

I came in from bringing in the newspaper one early morning and noticed the light in the stairwell illuminated this setting. I always think of this as Ron's corner. His little collection of ducks, the barometer and all of the many keys that are needed around the place. Its funny how we often fail to notice the special corners in our homes. I have a lot of little groupings of things that were special to Ron, to me and to my parents and to my children. Do you have such places in your home?

If your life was a novel, what would be the title and how would the story end?

My title would be THE SEARCH and it would end with "still looking".

 

ALL IS ENOUGH

Yesterday we had an early get-together for my son's 45th Birthday.  His daughter was home from college to celebrate with us.  After a wonderful lunch with my son and granddaughter it seemed only appropriate that we have dessert on this special occasion.  When we ask for the dessert menu we were informed they only had three desserts.  The waitress suggested we share one. Well there were three of us so we ordered ALL THREE!  Yes, we shared.  Yes we had to crawl out of the restaurant.  jk  LOL!!

Apple Crisp with ice cream, Chocolate lava cake with ice cream, Cheese cake with strawberry sauce.
