Love coloring books for adults. By the way, they make great additions to care packages for our deployed military.
ReplyDeleteWhen I go to my card making group it is amazing how quiet twelve women can get if there is a coloring project involved. It is so relaxing, almost meditative.

ReplyDeleteI have seen the books, but have not succumbed. I wasn't good at colouring between the lines way back when, and shaky hands ensure the trend would continue.

I do colour but have been frustrated with the pencil crayons I use. Gel pens are a great idea!
ReplyDeleteNow those are really creative and pretty. I got a few coloring books and crayons for my disaster kit in case the power goes off. However I went for the more juvenile books with stock horses, cows and pigs. I'll have to check into gel pens. Haven't heard of them and I might try the more adult coloring books.
ReplyDeleteThere was a time when I would have enjoyed such. Now I paint with my photography and filters and shading and highlighting. Those books are marvelous and very popular and there was an article that they were a good way to relieve stress.
ReplyDeleteNo...I haven't...I've heard about them, but I doubt I'll do them. I can understand people enjoying doing them, though...and it would be a relaxing pastime. I enjoy sketching...and I keep telling myself I must pick up my pencils again. I got a far as buying a new sketch book a few weeks ago...a start! lol

These are very pretty. As a matter of fact, my daughter ordered on and she colors them whenever she gets a chance.
