HOMEWARD BOUND

It has been wonderful but all good things must end.  Today it is homeward bound to Slim, and the rest of my critters as I leave these critters that gave me such a loving welcome.
Hope wrote this on their television.
Met up with brother and sil for pizza.
Michael behaves himself in picture with Aunt Elaine.

I was shocked to see how much I have shrunk until I realized Michael was standing on his tip toes.

All kinds of turkeys:)
Beautiful family:)

  6. A beautiful family is right! Love those hats and the polka dot socks (I have the same ones)! Looks like such a fun group of lovely people. I bet Michael is a character and I would love being around him. You are blessed!

  8. Indeed they are beautiful - and I love the hats. Most of my bunch thinks they are too cool for hats.

  13. What a great thanksgiving it looks like you had. Such lovely children must make you so proud, and you had shared clean-up!

    Thank you:)

It brings tears to my eyes too because they are so loving and wrapped me in such caring this Thanksgiving. Once in a while they will read my blog but rarely. My sister and brother will catch up on it before they are going to see me in case I quiz them. lol

    Rob and Monica
Rob, we had a great holiday and it looks like you and Monica did also.

My family is caring and lovely but my hens are a mess. Even the new ones are striking and egg production is back down. I remain perplexed.

    Aunt Betsy
Beth was delighted to have found her polka dotted socks. Evidently they had been missing for a while so she was wearing them proudly. Michael is quite a character but his cousins are all the same. I never know what any of them are going to pull on me. And yes, I am richly blessed.

Yep all are more than just pretty faces:)

There is a picture of everyone in a turkey hat. Even one of me with the cooked turkey and I don't have my wig on. It is well hidden I hope.

    Elephant's Child
    Thanks!

That makes me happy to make you smile:)

I have happy and intelligent grandchildren that often make comments that sound like things your daughters would say. Very clever youngsters all.

    gigihawaii
Yes, and you know what pretty grandchildren are all about don't you?

    Changes in the wind
My daughter insisted we gather at her home this year and it was a wise decision. It would have been a lot harder for me to have everyone here without Ron.

    Tabor
Not a lot of shared clean-up. My daughter and son-in-law are like a couple of cyclones in action when it comes to removing debris. Blink and it is gone.

    kenju
Yep, we've both been her a while haven't we?

    Riot Kitty
What did you guys do for Thanksgiving? Surely you have turkey hats since you don't eat turkey.

Michael has a way of keeping me on my toes...even if he has to stand on his toes to do it. They are all a great bunch.
