SINNING WITH THE PREACHER AND MOONSHINE

I took our new pastor to lunch at Montana Mike's yesterday.  We not only ate chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy but we shared this huge brownie and ice cream dessert.   I believe the sin is gluttony.

At the end of the day when I put the chickens to bed, I also indulged in some moon shine:)

Forgive the horrible pictures but I only had my cell phone camera to use.

  3. It would only be a sin if you ate it all by yourself:)

  6. Mahvelous darling! Great title and tie-in. Lunch with the preacher...never did that, but do you like him/her as a new leader in your church?

  8. Shared sin must surely be okay. :) And who could pass up a brownie sundae?

The moon is gorgeous! We finally have clear skies to actually enjoy it. :)

  11. Sonny -- I like your thinking:)

gigihawaii -- It was such a good dessert I could have eaten it by myself.

Changes in the wind -- Oh yes, then it would have been sinful.

Rob and Monica -- Rob, the preacher is a "she" and yes she condoned both our actions.

    Pat -- Amen:)

Tabor -- I do like her as a new pastor in our church. She is very intelligent and brings a lot more knowledge to our small town than most can absorb. Since I am a preacher's daughter, I can relate to the life of a local pastor.

Barb -- Good Moonshine is always welcome...if it doesn't make us crazy:)

Talon -- I knew you would be indulging in moonshine too.

cube -- Are you speaking of the brownie sundae? Oh yes!

    Cliff -- Nuthin"

  13. It all looks very good to me, and the idea of chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes and gravy being a sin-no way! The dessert might be just a wee bit evil. :)

  15. Ha-ha-ha Were you loaded or just out at night?

Only half a Sunday? I've been eating tons of chocolate- MnM's , ice cream, cookies, n the worst is spoonfuls of Nutella because it's so sugary (Hazelnuts, cocoa, sugar)! n expensive- Well, what's vaca for?

Is the Pastor portly already, or only since your meal?
    Good for you getting out!

  17. cube -- Oh yes, city girls can like that whole meal as well as us country gals.

Jeanie -- Our funniest story is about our granddaughter who said she wouldn't eat any meat but chicken and that she would eat anything with chicken in it. So she ordered chicken fried steak. lol

    Brighid -- Very well said:)

Snaggle Tooth -- Indulging in the sky filled full moon for the moonshine. You and my daughter could have a Nutella eating contest. The preacher and I both are portly though I prefer the term Rubenesque as would she I am sure.

ashok -- Food and fellowship does make a perfect day.

  25. Let me tell you something....in my book when you eat with the preacher it's no longer sinning.....when you eat it alone then it's sinning! LOL I hope you thoroughly enjoyed every bite!
