Your opening sentence, "This is post is also" makes me think you might have the same activity that makes me lose track of time, blogging or writing. I do the same thing, a lot. Only recently I've found that my right hand has not slowed down but my left hand has so my letters get rearragned. You know what I mean.
ReplyDeleteIf you do have trouble keeping track of time, simply go to church and listen to a slow wondering sermon. You'll be checking your watch about every minute.
The other cure is attending 4-H dog shows. Marilyn was a leader for over 20 years, there's something about the 'long sits and downs' that gets to a person.

Cliff -- I know you sing in your church choir and now I wonder if you are one of those who we laugh at as they nod their head in sleep. Now that is one of the things that makes church go faster. Will he wake up before he hits the floor? The bets are placed.....

ReplyDeleteTabor -- Perhaps a better question would have been to ask what bores you. It is obvious you enjoy all aspects of your life. I am still pondering your 6 degrees of separation question. I saw a movie recently that incorporated that very subject so very well and I cannot for the life of me remember what the name of it was. Oldtimers strikes again.
ReplyDeleteJust yesterday afternoon, Ken & I took a Sunday drive. We wanted to see where LA 126 ended on the east side. After we came to the end of the road, we traveled another road still heading east and wound up in Natchez Miss. Delightful, but completely lost time. Ken remarked that it felt like vacation even though it was just a Sunday afternoon, that turned into a late night, drive!

Actually nothing does really. I'm totally aware of the time because I do so many drops off and picks ups with the kids and my partner that I never get lost in anything and forget the time.
