  1. I am proud of our Military and grateful....it is just sad that it is necessary.

  2. It does not have new meaning for me, because I have always felt that those who risk their lives and give up their normalcy do it for me and those I love. My complaint is that we do not honor them when they return as well as they have honored us!

  3. Changes in the wind -- The ends to all means is never pleasant but always necessary.

  6. It means the same thing to me today that it always has... I thank God that we have courageous men and women who put their lives on the line for our freedom. I pray that God keeps them and their families safe.

I must admit that I do have a special hop in my step today. The air smells sweeter too.

  7. I'm not at all brave and I'm grateful for those who are. I was up all night thinking about the bin laden thing, and will probably blog about it. I lived in NYC for 3 1/2 years and Sept. 11 felt like someone blew up my house.

  10. None of us would have the freedom we do now if it weren't for the brave people that protect our countries.
