CHOCOLATE CAKE, CASSEROLE, BACON, SAUSAGE, EGGS

What's for breakfast? Plus there is a Texas Hash casserole in the crock pot for lunch.

Well don't worry, I'm not breaking my personal menu choices in my fitness plan. So, why would someone involved with meal moderation and fitness get up early to cook up such food?

Three grandchildren came creeping into our home in the middle of the night with their papa. Granny Annie is filling the house to awaken them with delicious odors. I try to cook their favorites. Dillon's breakfast request, Ryan's lunch request, and Beth will get her pancakes tomorrow morning:)

These are precious morning sights to me!

  4. I wish I was there! I'd want all that and then some chocolate cake for breakfast dessert. Yum.

  5. Awww! You're a dream Grandma, Annie! This makes me wish my grandparents had been alive in my lifetime...

What a lovely way to start a day.

  6. Cute kiddos! You are a great grandma. My late grandmother was sort of a disaster as a cook - her motto, I think, was "boil everything and get all of your vegetables from cans" - although her key lime pie was a dream. My living grandmother doesn't really cook.

Do you want to adopt me? :)

  11. How simply precious!! Would you say you have more fun being a granny that you did as a mother? It seems there's more time when you're a granny than a person ever has a mother.
