  8. Leslie, Annie, guess we'll have to think of something to call these unusual creatures.

Jessi,I know you are longing to be here. You'll be pleased to know I did not pet them.

Yes RK and Yvonne, they are so cute. I think we have four but there may be five.

Tabor, their mother is Miss Hissy and I caught her in the nest boxes and should have known what she was up to. The cats love the hen house because the dog won't go in there for anything.

Judy, take you pick and I'll ship one to you.

JD, Kitticks is a good name. I just hope they don't develop a taste for eggs. I haven't had any problem with the cats eating our eggs. I'm afraid to reach in and get the eggs that are there for fear of disturbing the kittens or getting my smell on them. (Not that I stink:)

  9. Awww. So precious. That's a photo for the record books. I expect to see it in my e-mail box for years as it travels around the world. Someone is bound to steal it.

  10. you know, i grew up thinking that we shouldn't touch baby cats, or kittens, as civilized folks call them, but i think it's okay. if i recall, when my sweet jasper was born kathrine and i tried to get as many as possible into 2 hands. they were tiny tiny babies :) but maybe not THIS tiny...who the crap knows...

  21. Darlene, I hope people do steal the image. I went back and added my blog address so hopefully they will steal it and not the first one.

Thank you all for your fun comments. Bonnie called them Chicktens and Jamie Dawn called them kitticks. Cute labels.

Jessi, I don't think it hurts to touch them but I do think the mama will move them somewhere else if I do.

Mountain Mama you are so right about the built in baby sitter. My mama cat (Miss Hissy) gets off the nest and lets the hens continue to lay eggs on top of the kittens.

Nancy, take you pick and I'll ship you one:)

Scarlet I'm so glad I was able to get that picture. It was just being there at the right time.

PG, that's exactly what I said when I saw them.

Lucy they definitely snuggle the eggs.

Linda no babies? No chicks, no kittens? Oh dear!

Monica, annie, Kay, OGO, I always love for you to stop and comment. Yep, they were a surprise for sure. OGO, all my cats are outside. All barn cats and pretty much wild but very healthy and happy.

  22. Had to look closely, then realized, wait a minute. That's not right.

Oh, my post about Nancy Pelosi I took off because it was out of context. My source had it wrong. She wasn't talking about raising taxes on 401k's for illegals, but rather just in general. So I didn't want to spread false info.

Still, Pelosi needs to go. Calling illegals heroes and wanting even more of our hard-earned tax money going to illegals is anti-American, and she needs to be booted from office. Illegals have already bankrupted this state.
