Some Structures Crumble
Jenny Impey, Minister High Street Methodist Church, Maidenhead, England is writing this week's Disciplines devotionals. Today regards some buildings that remain standing after a hurricane while others are destroyed and she compared that to our faith. She wrote, "What holds us firm when the storms come is not our outward faith but our inner foundation." I read this tonight after coming back from Tulsa and being with mother and feeling so grateful to her and Dad for our strong inner foundations. Elenore had to be feeling it as they travel home from Florida today and Print as they prepare for Annual Conference next week. We are all so blessed!
