My relatives both here and gone who served in: WW1 (Grandfather, and Great Uncle who died in battle, WW2 FIL in Europe, Uncles in Europe and The Pacific, Vietnam Cousins who fortunately all returned home
A large portion of my family are still serving, including my granddaughter, and grandson. My SIL is retiring from the Marines after 25 years. He was deployed to war 11 times.
Veterans of course. The perfect post for today.

ReplyDeleteGreat uncles, First husband, second husband, boyfriend, grandsons plus all who stepped up and signed up.
