Yes, jazz ballet, but not for long, though I did get to join the end of year concert. I wouldn't mind trying it again, just for the exercise and regaining a little flexibility, but there's nowhere available here.
My parents met at a ballroom dancing club in the early '40s. One of their classmates opened a dancing studio in the '50s. I had to go to ballet, tap, jazz, and toe lessons until I screamed and cried in front of the studio owner. I think he must've talked my Mom into letting me quit cuz I didn't like it. He actually showed up to both of my parent's funerals. Linda in Kansas

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I was made to take ballet and tap as a child, I was terrible at it and couldn't stand it.
