QUESTION OF THE WEEK - 10-17-2022
What would you regret not fully doing, being or having in your life?
Slightly regret dropping out of college. Think Marine Biology would have suited me. Somehow going to school full time, working full time and playing full time just wore me out.
It would have been nice to get a degree in something that would have let me work a desk job. Being a janitor/housekeeper is very hard and is not that great for my health.
It seems that most have read your question as "What DO you regret"... rather than what you have written. I would regret not having my love affair with classical music and great movies.
I have no regrets. Everything I've done or experienced has made me what I am today.

My first husband once apologized to me for causing me regret and I assured him that I had no regrets. How could I regret our two marvelous children.

ReplyDeleteThere was a time I wished I have completed college but my life has been pretty good without a degree.

ReplyDeleteI worked at a desk and my back is bowed from leaning over so much. Your job is so important but sorry it is bad for your health.

ReplyDeleteMy maternal grandfather taught me the love of classical music and my mother taught me to love great movies...as long as John Wayne was in them:-)

ReplyDeleteI used to regret not having a college education - but I have made peace with that now.
ReplyDeleteI felt the same but now I wonder why. I learned a lot in the school of hard knocks.
