Awww Mondays, Happy Tuesday, Wordless Wednesday and Feline Friday. That and lots of wonderful blogging buddies, many of whom I've met and all their precious kitties, puppies and birds.
I use to think I wanted to write a book. Did not have the wherewithal to actually accomplish that. Found blogging let me write small amounts and get instant gratification from the comments. The getting to meet people from all over the world was an added, delightful benefit.
That is so true I love telling people about my friend in the UK or my friend in India or my friend in Australia or my friend in Canada and Hawaii, etc...
I've been wondering lately why I blog, it takes so much time even though I don't write something everyday anymore. But I have to read what my blog friends are up to, and then comment, like a conversation. Which also takes a lot of time and before I know it another day is over.
I originally started blogging about 14(?) years ago, in order to practice my writing and to have space where I could control what got censored, if anything. Now, six blogs later, I blog to keep myself occupied (mostly) and to practice my writing skills.
