  1. I used to stay awake for hours in college to study for exams. Ron told me he once stayed awake for 93 hours bringing in a crippled Navy ship.

  2. While I was working. I'd done a 12 hour shift, went home and went to bed. Three hours later I was called back into work at 4pm. I worked around the clock until 2 pm the following day. I went home and slept for 17 hours straight. I was young though.

Have a fabulous day and week. ♥

  3. 26 hours with no nap. This has happened to me 3 times as a nurse when relief couldn't come in. I start getting nauseated at 24 hours. Yep, it's illegal to do that to nurses. Linda in Kansas

  4. Thirty six hours and it was for a school paper. I wanted to show the effects of loss of sleep on the mind. Through out the experiment, I did tests on my self to see if I were still thinking properly. I wasn't. I did get an A on the paper but I think I wet the bed when I finally went to sleep:)

  5. With this current cough I have to take an over the counter sleep aid or I would only get about 3 hours. I can't remember how long I have gone without sleep actually.

  6. Like Arkansas Patti my longest period without sleep was for a college essay. I lasted nearly 48 hours. I also got an A. I couldn't/wouldn't even attempt it now.

  7. A couple of years ago I sat up just inside the front door waiting for Lola to come creeping back after she escaped and had an outside adventure. I normally go to be around 10pm and she can back at 1am so that's only three hours. I don't think I've ever gone without sleep apart from that.

  8. Once in a while i'd pull an all-nighter in college while doing a paper or studying, but that's about it. Of course, sometimes you get precious little sleep when you have children, but when they nap, you nap, so it works out.

  9. About 40 hours, cramming for a college exam. By the time is was over I was over tired, and well over caffeinated .

  10. After birthing twins, sleep became very illusive until they were about 1!
