No plan - just enjoy what's in the fridge/freezer/cupboard. I'd go nutty if on Friday I had to cook what I fancied at the beginning of the week. I don't shop in small amounts so there's always lots to choose from. How about you Annie - do you plan?
When Sweetie was working and i was home, yes, i planned. Meals were based on what i had in the freezer or what i could buy on special at the store.
Now, i work and he's home more than i am, so he fixes his own meat-full meals, and i fix my own vegan meals. We both plan a bit in advance, so we don't have to shop as often.
Yes. No. Sort of. I'll sometimes decide on the day what I'd like for dinner, but buy things in the weekly shopping for things to make without a specific day to make them.

I try to plan my one day meals and snacks the evening before. Seems like I eat less if I have things worked out in advance.

ReplyDeleteI usually plan meals for about 4-5 days in advance. Then for about three days it is helter skelter meaning popcorn, or pizza or eating out.
