SPEND A BUCK

Question Of The Week 10-22-18

Do you gamble? What was your biggest win?  (Lottery, Casino, Bingo, horse racing, cards, sports, etc.)

1985 placed $2 bet on Spend A Buck in the Kentucky Derby and got back $10:-)

  1. WE won 100 dollars once on a Nevada ticket....You can count the number of tickets we have bought over our married life on your fingers. Nope...not gamblers.

  2. I enjoy the slot macines when in Nevada. All winnings go right back in. Lucky I don't live there.

  3. Not a gambler at all. It has truly never occurred to me buy a lottery ticket and a casino is just overstimulating, I can't stay in one for longer than a minute.

  4. I played nickel slots once & won $300; played the horses once & won $700; played bingo twice & won $90; yet to win the lottery because, in spite of my beginner's luck, I'm a tightwad & seldom ever gamble...BUT, I will buy a few tickets this week. :-)

  5. Ha ha, we are on the same page. I once won $1500 from the Florida lottery via an office pool. That was after 7 years of playing so I am not sure I broke even.

  10. About twice a year I buy a scratch ticket but that’s it. Not worth it.

  11. Buying lottery tickets is gambling, but I only buy if there is enough left after grocery shopping and bill paying, also I wait until the prize is big enough to make sharing worthwhile.

  12. The only horse race I have a bet on these days is our legendary Melbourne Cup...which always falls on the first Tuesday in November...hence...6th Nov this year. When my late brother was alive he often would ring me with tips and I'd some times have a bit of a flutter, but since his passing I only have bet on the Melbourne Cup now.

I do place entries in our Lotto/lottery each week. Gotta be in it, to win it!! :)
