INNOCENTS LOST

Question Of The Week 10-2-17

Where can we go?

(This question is in light of the news this morning of the horrendous shooting in Las Vegas last night.  At least 50 dead and 200 wounded, all innocent victims. Will we still attend gatherings like this Country Music Festival?)

I wish I had an answer ...

You think twice before you leave the house these days

I don't think we are safe anywhere anymore, but I will continue to attend things.

There really are no safe places anymore. Any deranged, heavily armed person with a gripe, can attack at any time. Our innocence is gone.

All one can do is be situationally aware, and carry on.
As to this terrible tragedy
Do what you can for the victims and their families... prayers, help, time, give blood.
People need to just STOP with spreading rumors, political hate, etc, especially on social media.

I don't know.
My heart goes out to everyone affected in this latest obscenity.

I stopped going to our city’s Canada day fireworks a while back. Nobody would even know if someone opened fire.

To not go; lets them win. I will continue to attend events. This of course sickens me, though.

We're already well on our way to Hell...I think we should do a swift about turn!

I say that we continue living life somewhat as normal, we have to be as cautious as possible but we can't live in fear and hide.

I've never attended outdoor concerts and after this I never will. I don't go to concerts much anyway, these days I'm happy to just see highlights on the TV.

  12. This stuff definitely makes most pause, but defiantly go out boldly!

My California friend from childhood was at that place with FB pics a month ago after winning a pool tournament n being sent to national finals there! I love live music! I don't refuse those opportunities.

  13. We are told not to let it change our life style but it is hard and I've never been happy in crowds.

  14. I'm going to worry a little every time we go out where there's a lot of people gathering. There's just way too many guns in this country.
