DECISION TIME WORDS FOR WEDNESDAY

Here is my WFW story. 

DECISION TIME by Granny Annie

It was an exciting time deep in the woods. The annual meeting was upon them and their votes would be cast for or against the question once again. The meeting ANNOUNCEMENT was posted on the gathering tree at the edge of the forest.

The wildlife STRATEGY of every opinion would be set forth at the meeting. Though it appeared the MINORITY of mice would fight any reasoning as always, it was clear that the majority of bigger animals such as deer, opossums, skunks and rabbits would DICTATE what was to be outlined. There was not a chance that any creature would be FLUID or flexible in their positions and the final decision would remain ENIGMATIC.

The Great Horned Owl was given RECOGNITION to lead this meeting. He scowled at those he knew would be PLAYFUL and warned them to pay attention. This leader also was able to caution those who would be DIVISIVE in the matter open for discussion this EVENING.

There could have not been a more PICTURESQUE place to gather and the weather was perfect for them to discuss what had become an ANTIQUE question. Should they or should they not send a delegation to confront humans about the continued mistreatment of their homes and lovely wooded sanctuary? Legend had it that centuries ago such an elected body had been sent. No changes occurred and those who had volunteered to carry the message had never been seen again.

Unexpected gunfire erupted and the meeting quickly ended as the crowd dispersed without having taken a vote.
