FRIDAY FUNNIES

Cartoons of the week.  My son provided two and my niece provided one.  It runs in the family:-)

Event story

The "eyes" don't have it. Yesterday I took a trip to Muskogee with a friend. I broke my diet to eat lunch with her at El Chico's. Had to try Flautas for the first time. OMG! So good. This morning when I looked in the mirror my eyes had disappeared. I was peering through slits. So much sodium my face was swollen. Today hoping my eyes will return. LOL
I must add that it was worth it to enjoy that great food.

  1. The potato guy creeps me out a little!!! All good funnies.

I am plagued with swollen ankles when I have too much sodium - so I can relate, and it is worth it most of the time. :)

  5. Wow, that is dangerous that you got such a reaction. Not sure I would be so relaxed about that. I do love Mexican food, though. The homing pigeon did make me smile.

  6. Loved the homing pigeon. We have a free banded pigeons who regularly visit our feeder and I have wondered whether they are escapees or freeloaders under direction...
I am sorry about your sodium reaction. I hope it has settled.

  7. Homing pigeon! lol

I had Chinese food last week. I haven't had it in a few years. So much salt but so good!

  8. What a fun way to end the week. Thanks for the giggles. Not giggling about your eyes, yikes.

  9. I'm so food deprived right now because of my tooth that I'd bite into anything. Somehow, I must be getting enough salt in my diet because I've never had such a reaction to food. That's new to me.

  10. I wake up with slitty eyes through most of the hayfever season unless I take antihistamine before going to bed. If I have too much salt I get excruciating pain in my toes late at night after I've been asleep for a while.
