MOROSE WFW

A bit late with Words For Wednesday provided by Margaret Adamson and her friend Sue Fulcher. Thank you for all of September's challenging words. You will find this weeks words and  other poems and stories posted at the blog of Elephant's Child.

MOROSE by Granny Annie

70 my new age
Seeking illumination

Not a good pastime.
Burial or cremation?

Should I laugh?
Not feeling spry
Profound thought
When will I die?

  1. Very, very good. You are an expert at this! It is a good poem even without the challenge of the limited vocabulary.

  2. You always let the words take you somewhere I would never have thought of going. Well done per usual.
