Crocus
Fount
Shawl
Torch
Knife
Narrative
Here is NORA'S STORY
I will start with this narrative in a garden. Lola was working on her crocus and the rest of her garden. She was redesigning it to a luau theme. It would have torches and a fire in the fire pit. There would be a party and everyone would get a shawl made out of flowers. There would also be a fount with fake lava instead of water. All she needed was a knife to cut the thick weeds and her garden would be perfect.
(My use of the words will follow later. So proud of this grand niece. Maybe her brother will join us too.)

BAD
BOYS BAD BOYS by Granny Annie
They
were running through the amphitheater. As they did they knocked
over the vase of crocus on
the altar.. The fleeing man tripped over the baptismal
fount and continued on without stopping. He was wearing a
dress and had a shawl over his head but the disguise did not
fool anyone. The battery in the pursuer's flashlight failed and he
had to grab a torch from the aisle in order to see and stop
the man with the knife. The dedicated chaser tackled the
assailant. He got his man and thus endeth this narrative of
an episode of COPS.
Interesting!!
ReplyDeleteA shawl made of flowers. So fun :-)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Nora...well done, Nora! I love it! Very imaginative use of the words. :)
ReplyDeleteBrilliant. Loud applause. The apple hasn't fallen far from the tree.
ReplyDeleteI like this a lot. Shawls made from flowers would be very pretty.
ReplyDeleteYour grand niece shares your talent with words, Annie.
Perfect!
ReplyDeleteWell done Nora. It is obvious you didn't fall far from the family tree and share your great aunt's creative skills.
ReplyDeleteCute stories. Fun to see such different perspectives. Funny how the knife got violent in two stories, but the girls story was not. I suppose you could cut up food with it too...
