What is your idea of a perfect evening?
Two couch potatoes:-) Frankie and Slim have a perfect evening. |

- A delicious light dinner, a photographic sunset and a good mystery or TV mystery show. Something I can actually get sometimes!

- I love that picture. They are definitely buds that can share a couch butt to butt. That shows trust.

- Dinner cooked for me (and cleaned up after), a gorgeous sunset, and a book.

- My perfect evening involves coffee, maybe cake, something good to read and no one knocking on my door.

- I'm not sure. It's been so long since I had one (married with children) that I wouldn't know how to describe one.
However, the perfect afternoon would be sitting in my side yard, at the foot of the mountain and under a crab apple tree, taking in the sounds of the neighborhood and the mountain and decompressing.

I don't know if I could narrow my perfect evening down to one scenario but I do know that no evening could be perfect without being able to share it with my soulmate! (Rob)
ReplyDeleteMmmm! A glass of wine, watching a great telly drama & a chip sandwich (proper home cooked chips, not a bag of crisps).
ReplyDeleteFriday night, after a long week of work - I like to order Chinese Food (garlic shrimp) and pick up some cold Pinot Grigio. I settle on the couch with that and watch Friday night TV or something I've recorded. Sometimes I have plans on Friday night and I think wistfully of my usual activity.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of Frankie and Slim. Frankie's fitting right in!
ReplyDeleteA good light dinner with little to no clean up....then some time outside. Or a trip to a favorite neighborhood place to eat....a small bit of good dark beer...sitting to eat by an outdoor courtyard in warm weather...watching lights that twinkle outside and ivy waving in the breeze...followed by (some) people watching and then a slow drive home. On the way (home) seeing more lights twinkle down by the water...and again, on the trip home, seeing people out and about on the town on this--a warm, breezy night.
ReplyDeleteA light repast, a glass of wine, a small fire, on the beach, at the lake, watching the twilight fall... oh and a tall, handsome fellow to share it with...
ReplyDeleteLove to see the pups on the couch like that. Ours are that way as I write this. We call them bookend, puppies.
ReplyDeleteNOT working! Doing anything- like making good food.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy being home and enjoying the great outdoors. Love watching my dogs and other critters and always welcome visitors for a visit. I especially love mowing the back field on the tractor and watching even more of nature.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about perfect, but my favourite night of the week is Game Night (be it Friday or Saturday, as it could be either). Gather with friends; eat, chat, and laugh together; and play games. What could be better?
