Question Of The Week, 5-30-16
Do you like partying?
How about "observing parties" from a great distance?
I don't mind boring small talk - or boring big talk - and I do
enjoy parties. When I was younger, I didn't, because I had no
self-confidence. I was embarrassed for myself - but not now that I have
reached a certain age.
Thanks for the blog visit. And just why
wouldn't you attend the events??? You'd meet nice people and have a
good time, in spite of yourself.
Unlike the previous commenter, who posted spam, I do not like
attending, participating or planning a party. I would rather observe
from a great distance. Less heartache and disappointment. Last party I
planned, people who said they would come, blew me off. Took me many,
many months to get over it.
I kind of like hosting parties...but few and far between as I have
gotten older with less stamina. Going to parties takes a lot of
courage for me, unless the people there are very young friends of mine.
