ELLEN

29 FACES CHALLENGE DAY 25
29 Faces Day 25 Ellen DeGeneres as Ellen drawn from opening scene of  reruns of 90s sitcom. Markers by Eaghl 2016
The Ellen Show ran from 1994 to 1998 and was one of the highest rated comedy shows on television until Ellen disclosed to America that she was gay.  Soon after the show was cancelled. I have been so happy finding the reruns of this hilarious TV show.  I am also happy for Ellen that in this 21st century she has been able to return to television with her own talk show and we can share laughs with her again.

  1. She really is funny. I cannot watch her when mr. kenju is home - he doesn't approve. I don't argue with him about this, because we argue too much about other things already, and I have to pick my battles.

  2. I always liked her so much because she was so close to her mother who would sit in the audience and cheer her on. Obama praised her leadership on cultural acceptance this past year when he was on her show.

    And hooray for her success.

  5. Enjoyed her old show but somehow missed her coming out party and only heard about it after the fact. She is certainly successful now.

  7. I remember the brew-ha-ha that occurred when she came out. I also remember watching the show, or at least trying to watch the show. I just didn't find it all that funny or interesting. I don't find her current talk show all that interesting either, but then again, I don't find much of any talk show that piques my curiosity nowadays.

    Excellent work on the challenge.
