CATCH ME

Question Of The Week, 1-25-16

DO YOU TRUST
ANYONE
WITH  YOUR LIFE?
WHO?
WHY?

This is supposed to be an adult catching a child but my son said it looks like a monkey in clothes attacking Frankenstein.   I have to agree.  I can because I drew it.  LOL  Don't trust Frankenstein with your life.

  1. Definitely not, at the end of the day you enter this world alone and you leave it that way too. Also I wouldn't expect anyone to 'catch me', why should they?

  2. Joe, oh dear me, I thought you might say your partner. I definitely trusted Ron and he taught me to trust others.

  3. Oh no definitely not my partner. We live quite separate lives anyway, and when the going gets tough, I don't expect my partner to be around. It doesn't bother me really.

I'm glad you trusted Ron, sadly I don't trust anyone.

  4. This will sound "out there" but it is what I choose to believe--I trust myself and I trust the universe to send me what or who I need.

  5. I don't trust anyone 100 percent. We are all unpredictable at times and see things in different perspectives. I'm with Joey.

  7. Olga, That is a great answer. I have learned to trust myself and that has not always been the case.

  8. Ileana, truly there is not one single soul that you can trust 100%? Wow, I am going to think hard on this myself.

  10. If I HAVE to trust someone it would be my husband who is smarter than people may think. I also could trust my kids, but not totally. Oddly enough, I would not trust myself 100% either. I still want a second opinion

  12. Since my oncologist died at the end of last month I have learned that I put a lot of trust in my him. I let him poison me almost to the brink to cure me. He did catch me when I was falling. Now I know that I also trust my surgeon as much. A light was shined on the extraordinary amount of trust that I placed in them. I also trust my friends, Toni and Greg. They have gone as far as to move me into their house when I was sick, not once, but many times. In all the years that I have known them, they have proved their love for me in so many ways. And I am literally trusting my friend, Barbara with my life. I have given her medical power of attorney in case the unthinkable happens. I don't want my children to have to be the ones to make the final decision. So, yea. I do have people I can trust even with my life. I am very blessed.

  13. My husband and I placed our trust in each other nearly 50 years ago. We have discussed life and death issues extensively and have put personnal wishes in writing. I feel confident we would do right by each other. Our sons also know our end of life wishes. I believe they'll honor them. I have less trust in medical professionals which is why I believe having written documents is important.

  14. It's not that I don't trust my children to do the right thing. I just don't want them to have to be there person who says to stop treatment. That is a devastating decision to have to make.

  15. I am a catcher at heart which makes me a hugely trusting soul and trust just about everyone to be there for me except maybe doctors whom I oddly question constantly.

  16. I really don't know. I suppose it would depend on the situation at hand at the given moment. And like everything...one never knows until "that" moment how anyone will react, including one's own self.

But, strange as it may seem to some people, I would trust my ex-husband Randall...and a friend I've know since I was four years of age...and that's a long a time ago.

  17. However, in saying all of the above...the person I trust the most with my life...is me.

  18. Divorce doesn't always mean the end of the relationship. It means the relationship changed.

  19. I trust my hubby, my kids and my siblings when it comes to my life and any thing else for that matter.

  20. I trust my parents more than anyone else in the world. I'm 59 years old and my mother still calls to make sure how I'm doing if I have a simple cold. We keep in touch a lot. I'm lucky to have many, many close seconds.

  25. I really don't trust doctors, because everyone can make mistakes.
I trust my kids to be themselves.

When I take rides with other drivers, I have to decide not to worry, n usually don't. A few times I've had doubts when a passenger.

When I fly on planes, I make sure I have life insurance, then trust my Creator no matter what occurs. Most times I only trust God, even if it means it's time to go.
