VETERAN'S DAY 2015

This is a rerun of my post from 2013.  You might see the name of a Veteran you posted and if you do not, then put it in the comments and I will add it to the list.

WHAT IS THE FIRST NAME OF MILITARY VETERANS YOU WOULD LIKE REMEMBERED?

Put his or her first names in the comment section and I will add them to this blog page as a way of saying thanks for their service.

"A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.'  " ~ unknown

  10. Hi there...thank you. Bill Houser, Sr., my grandfather, is a WWII vet who lives with PTSD. Matt B., my cousin's husband, is actively deployed in the Middle East right now.

  11. There was Douglas M. already - thank you for re-posting this. My sister visited the Veterans Cemetery on Veterans Day and sent photos of my dad's grave with the flag beside it. I love that you honor veterans like my dad and your dear Ron.
