PICKLED SNAKE HEADS

Question Of The Week, 4-6-14
No I did not eat pickled snake heads, but I remember liking Elmer's glue.

  2. Elmer's glue is actually made of the same base that milk is made of...sodium casienate, however i am likely to eat the most unfamiliar thing on a table, just to try it. Having said that - I think the pickled jelly fish were the strangest thing (and the were good). I have eaten roasted rattlesnake

  3. Now, as an adult, I think back when my grandmother served blood sausage and brain and I think that was a little strange, although as a child I thought it was normal.

  6. I simply love ramen noodles with hot sauce and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on the side to bite into as I eat the ramen. Simply YUM!!!

  9. Cow's tongue, haggis, gizzards, pickled eggs... There must be more. I spend time with adventurous eaters, although I don't seek weird things out myself.

    I don't think we got Elmer's glue but we certainly ate Perkin's Paste.

  14. When I lived across town n worked on an Italian guy's outboard motors years ago, sometimes I ate his Italian cooking for lunch.
    I remember being surprised with finding squid in the spaghetti with sauce, n once cloudy fish eyes in soup. Yuck- Still grosses me out-

    Also eel, which I caught n my aunt cooked which was good.

  15. I have told everyone before that I love Peanut Butter and Mustard sandwiches but many find that strange. I also love PNB and cold kosher dill pickles.
