WHAT YOU SEE

Here are the photos from a wonderful family weekend.  My grandson was the focus of the visit because he is off to the Navy next week. And yes, we were too involved with soaking up our time with him to take any pictures. I hate it when that happens.

  1. Things happen. You did have a good time. That is all that matters. Be safe, healthy and happy.

I am not tech savy and as a result my blogs do not have enough pictures. I make do.

  2. Be sure to keep the memories of the weekend...somewhere write them down and then do one of your works of art and you will have the memory without the photos!

  3. To me, lack of pictures means the best kind of visit. You were enjoying each other too much to stop and say cheese. The heart and mind take great snapshots.

  4. Get out your sketching tools, Grannie!

  5. The photos you didn't take will be firmly saved in your heart's memory card. The very best sort of album.

  6. Good luck to your grandson! He's going to have some stories for you for sure, when you speak to him next.

Sometimes no photos are the best photos.

Just being in the moment is always the right thing.

  8. Ha! Sometimes we have to put the camera or phone down and live in the moment. I hear you and I've done it, too...very few times, but I've done it. lol

  10. Congratulations to your grandson. All the best to him. You must be so proud of him...that is something you don't need photos of...it will remain in your heart and in your mind. :)
