  2. I've had many supernatural experiences. starting at age 3..
For a few years people thought I had an active imagination and that was very hurtful to my soul and it made me angry, so at 7 I took an opportunity to force folks to know what I saw was REAL.
At a church function I heard a man saying what a Godly life he was living, so I stood in the middle of the group of people he was talking to
and asked him why he was laying on top of Mrs.Anderson//the choir director// on the pastors desk and why she was hollering. needless to say the room went silent right before all hell broke loose.
It's not nice to tell a child they are making things up and that particular group of folks never said anything like that about me again..
I used this same technique through the years whenever people doubted me.
I'll play nice if they do.. Otherwise... well, nuff said.

  3. I've never been afraid of ghosts, partly because I've never seen one. Until I see one for myself, I won't believe they exist.

As far as the supernatural goes, I've experienced precognitive events and it makes me think that there are other out there who have had similar experiences.

  4. My house had ghosts when I first moved in. They would do childish pranks (flip the TP to go under instead of over, turn around my flour containers so the labels faced the wall, unlace my shoes) and run in the front door then out the back letting the screen doors slam. At first I didn't think they were ghosts until I heard the screen doors slamming after I took them off for the winter.

My sister had stayed at my house overnight in the middle of winter once while I was gone. When I got home, I could smell that she had smudged the house. I asked her why and her reply was "those ghost kids slamming the screen door". I never told anyone except my boyfriend about the ghosts.

  5. Afraid of ghosts? No and it is not that i do or do not believe in them, i have experienced many things, but i think of these as being the spirits of people who have some connection to us. Malevolent spirits do exist, but believe there is protection available.

  6. The first one I remember was an native American who stood at the top of the stairs in the apartment we lived in at Fort Knox. He pushed my sister down the stairs when she was being particularly nasty to the rest of us.She didn't really get hurt. I've seen many more since then. Only a few have been aggressive. I told one of them that I had nowhere else to go, so don't even bother. My ex-husband didn't believe me until he saw my long deceased uncle standing by my grandmother's fireplace. I'm really not afraid of them.

    1. LISA, I don't think I would be afraid either if I ever encountered one. I never knew they could push people down stairs though.

  7. Shortly after my grandmother, who I was named for, passed away when I was nine years old, I saw her standing in the doorway of my bedroom. When I told my mother, she told me that Nanny would never hurt me or want to scare me so I shouldn't be afraid if I see her again. I never did see her after that. So yes, I believe.

I am not afraid and yes, I believe. I lived in a house where weird things happened. My dad had built the house and we found out later that the property had been used for satanic rituals. The house itself was beautiful but weird things were always happening so my mom insisted we sell it.

  9. I'm not sure if "supernatural" is the correct word, but I have had a couple of experiences outside of the "norm"....they intrigued and interested me far more than scared me. Actually, they didn't scare me at all.

Of course...it could all have been just coincidence.....

I would love to see one. I have so many questions.

  11. I've had some odd experiences. Mostly not scary, a couple of scary ones. I have had lots of dreams about things before they happen, starting when I was little. Is that supernatural?

  13. Yes - I believe in ghosts - whatever form that is. I've had a couple of experiences here at the condo building that make me wonder if it's built over a cemetery.

And I think I've told the story here before about bringing a framed picture, that my grandmother treasured, home after she died. I used to have a wicker chair in the bedroom, sitting facing the picture, that squeaked when I sat in it. The next morning I woke to the chair squeaking. I opened one eye and nothing was there, but I believe that was her visiting her picture. I was always a little scared of her - she was quite the matriarch, so I moved it into my home office. :) And got rid of that chair. :)

And when my mom developed dementia, she took to shredding papers in the shredder at their home. Dad would wake up during the night to hear the shredder going. Needless to say - when we moved her to assisted living, the shredder didn't go with her. So I brought it home. It's plugged into an expensive surge protector along with the computer in my home office.

A few weeks ago, I was in the kitchen getting ready to go to a meeting, when the shredder started up. I walked back to the office, where I had not been all afternoon and looked at it humming away. My sister thinks it was a power surge. Me - I think it was a visit from my mom. She knew I would know that was her. And I said out loud, "Hi Mama" as I turned off the switch and unplugged it.

    1. LYNN,I do remember the story about the shredder and I just love it. When I was a kid there was a haunted rocking chair in one of the churches I attended. I would often see it rocking with no one in it and was told it was unlevel floor cause that to happen but I knew better:)

  17. I only get scared of the nasty, evil ones.

Plenty- including electronics going haywire at my parents house after they were gone- interrupting arguments we sibs were having! My Dad was an electronics engineer, n so far every time one of his age group relatives has died, one of my appliances has gone on the blink, only to work fine the following day- after I get the announcement call. (TV, Toaster, lights, ect)

Also, I have faces in orbs in many of my photos. I do think that's what it is...

    1. SNAGLE TOOTH, I am not real sure that I understand what faces in orbs would be like. Are they like your altered pictures?
