    I have kept secrets.

  2. I have kept them, I have told them and right now I'm sitting on a pretty big one that I think I was told so that I would tell it.

  3. Yes, I am trusted with them and do keep them. If I tell a secret, there is a very strong positive reason for me to do so. But for the most part, I think that if you do something it is almost always better to be out in the open. If something is done to you it is better to shine light on it.

    1. LISA I think you are saying it is better not to have secrets. That is a good idea.

  4. I don't like having to keep secrets, but if I have to I will. There are some things I know that I'd LOVE to spill, but I will take them to my grave.

    1. SPARKLING RED I only have a couple that I will take to the grave. Most of the others have surfaced on their own.

  6. yes indeed I can keep secrets and have done so for over 50 years. one day I'll post about it, Maybe. For now the memory is still too painful.

a few I've kept would have serious consequences if I ever told.

  9. Yes.

Funny that you should mention it. About six weeks ago, a colleague told me "in confidence" that she was going to move to another state next year to be closer to family.

She ran into my boss last week, and said, "So RK probably told you..."

And my boss said, "Um, no. She didn't."

Because it was supposed to be a secret!

  10. I've kept secrets too. Actually, most of the time it's because I have a poor memory and forgot.

  11. When I was younger I was a bit of a mouth a minute, but since we've had kids I've changed and yes I can, and do keep secrets. I don't tend to trust other people with mine though.

    1. LL COOL JOE I was much better keeping secrets when I was a child. When I turned 16 a pastor broke a confidence by sharing a letter with my parents and I began to start giving less credit to secrets.

  20. I'm a great secret keeper. Not sure why, but I've never been much of a gossip. :)

I will be officially returning to blogging next week. I've missed you, Annie! Hope all is well in your world as we slide into autumn.

PS. I'll change my header to one of my shots of the supermoon this month. :) I always think of you, too, when I'm out shooting the moon.
