DO YOUR OWN THING

OF COURSE THIS WAS A MADE-UP HOLIDAY !!!! THANKS FOR PLAYING ALONG:)

It has arrived!  Another September 26th, Begabonitia Day is upon us and I am wondering how you will all celebrate the significance of this day.  Will you hang a banner or invite friends over to unite their memories of previous years?  What are some of your special memories?  I have drawn the following picture to depict my ideas of the grandeur that binds us.  It is great that Begabonita Day falls on a Friday this year and we can party all weekend. Have a great day!

    1. NANCY, first of all it is Begabonita Day not Bonobonita. Did it never make it to your part of the country?

  5. Annie,

Unfortunately, since I live in the emerging nation of Pennsylvania, BEGABONITA DAY is not known to the natives here.

I know about Groundhog Day and other immensely important holidays
but BEGABONITA DAY has alluded us here in the hinterlands.

Please explain before we get too restless and seek the answer ourselves.

  7. I learned something new today.
My fond memories are those of baking cookies with my kids when they were very young and making "Puris" with my mom when I was young.

  8. What day? Who? What? Where? It's just another boring day here in the UK.

  9. Joining the restless crowd here. Not a day that I (or Google) know.
Today I will spend doing domestic chores of one sort and another - ensuring that there is time in the garden, time to read, and probably a glass of Merlot.

  10. I googled it and just got sent right back to your post! So what are we missing out on here?

  11. Not being picky about a reason to celebrate, I will give it a shot and eat a forbidden steak today.
If not a real day, it should be, we can never have enough celebratory days.

  12. Always up for a celebration, whether or not I heard of it before. That's your drawing? Are you related to Matisse? Love it.
Think I'm gonna go find Lynn and that Pinot Gris.Cheers !

  13. The last time I celebrated Begobonita Day I came down with the "Shingles" so I no longer observe the day. If you "google" shingles you should be able to note where it is recommended not to celebrate Begabonita Day if you have ever had the chicken pox!
