I was taught to always ask questions and seek answers. That I would never have all the answers but the search was important.

    Cliff
Can I call that a "Cliff hanger"?

    Tabor
You say you are firm in what you know, so do you never question what you think you already know or is that what you force yourself to question? It is never a good think to be positive that you have the right answer.

I am a big questioner. My dad loved nothing better than a new question and was doing research to the very end of his long happy life.

  6. How to answer this one....hmmm I think I can fall in both categories, sometimes I ask questions but sometimes I have no need because I know what I know.

  7. Oh my - I ask questions. Too many, some might say. :)

  8. It depends on the topic. If I'm interested in it I'll ask questions. Otherwise I just accept what I already know.

  9. I figure the day you stop wanting to know more, they should wrap you up and stick you in the ground. :)

  13. It depends on the situation. I don't think that I always must ask a question, but if I have a question I do ask it.

  16. I am always asking questions. I used to make my fellow college classmates angry because I asked so many questions. Several years back I attended church and the pastor told me that I did not have enough faith because I asked too many questions.

  17. Birdie, the pastor was a jerk. God doesn't mind that you ask questions. He knows you are going too.

  18. Changes in the wind
When you know what you know is there ever any room to possibly learn a little more about what you know that you know?

    Lynn
It has always been my contention that you can never ask to many questions. Of course I did work for persons who openly declared, “You're not here to ask questions, you're just supposed to do what you're told.”

    Pat MacKenzie
Yes, in order to make inquiry, you first have to be interested.

    Talon
The day I do stop wanting to know more will already be that day.

    Barb
I can remember as a child thinking that when I was an adult I would finally know everything.

    Elephant's Child
    Well, I don't question that.

Learning something new is always exciting.

    Lisa
I know what you are saying here. Some people will just ask questions to hear themselves and not really care about the answer.

    Brighid
That is not a surprise about you at all..

    Brite Mist
Often my biggest question starts, “What if”.

    Birdie
Oh dear Birdie, that was not a good response from your pastor. My father, a minster, insisted the more we ask the more we learn and questions are good. Hope you had a nice St. Pat's day too.

    Lisa
Good for you to come back for Birdie. I agree with you about the pastor missing the mark.

  19. No I don't think I do. If I did I would have tried to meet my birth mother.
