HELLO 2013 ARTISTIC ENDEAVORS
I have finally gotten back in the swing of things at the Julia Kay portrait party. My artist name is EAGHL (pronounced Eagle). Here are my first "markerings" for 2013.
You might also get a kick out of my first effort to draw a portrait on my Kindle Doodle Dawg app. Guess I've got a way to go:)

Marla and Steve -- Thank you. Wish I could show the original pictures but that is against the rules.
Whitemist -- Thank you. Permanent markers and call them "EAGHL Markerings". My goddaughter came up with the term "markerings" since they aren't paintings.
Tabor - Definitely fun. I have been in this group since 2010 and it is wonderful fun. I have posted over 200 portraits. You can see them on my sidebar.
Jeanie -- Thank you so much. Stranded in Kansas with my spouse working crossword puzzles, I decided to create my own coloring pages, thus evolved "EAGHL Markerings". My greatest celebrity comes from my commissioned nudes but cannot show them:)
these are some great sketches...and all I've got to say is if "YOU have a *ways* to go", then, I have hundreds of miles to go!! =)

I dig the Kindle doodle. I didn't know you could draw on a Kindle! huh.

I especially like the one with the snoozing kitty cat. It really captures the 3-D feel of the space.
I wish I could draw. I am very impressed that you can also do that on a kindle!

Kerry -- I have downloaded two free drawing apps on my Kindle Fire HD. One is Doodle Dawg and the other is Picasso.

Riot Kitty -- Drawing on the Kindle using my stylus is a little difficult but I am getting the hang of it.

I think I once dated both of the blonds but not at the same time.
Interesting n not bad- Does the kindle have a stylus or do you use a finger, or press buttons to draw?
Like the kitty n lady one best, but they are all appealing-

Cliff -- The portraits of the blonde are the same person so you must have only dated one:) Hopefully you didn't because I'm pretty sure she is in her 20's.
Snaggle Tooth -- Thanks for your comment. I use the stylus to draw. You thought your were joking but you would be fascinated by the great portraits that are actually done on an Etch-A-Sketch.
Great job on these portraits, Annie...and I can't even get anything close to what you've created on your Kindle with my iPad drawing app. It drives me up the wall!
