MOUNTAIN OF TROUBLE
I made a mountain of trouble for my blog friend MOUNTAIN MAMA. Please visit her if you can and let her know that her blog is working okay for comments. It is a long story and has to do with unsolicited advice (from me) making matters worse. Yet she has been kind and did not place blame. And I have learned a valuable lesson...at least until next time:)

seems like I've heard this kind of deal before. But I was the guilty one and you were the target.

ReplyDeleteHey sweet lady, you didn't make trouble for me, I did it to myself! Thank you so much for letting me know I was getting spam. Unfortunately my blog knowledge is quite limited when it comes to messing with all the options. I thought I knew what I was doing but EEEK! I was pushing the wrong buttons. HAHA
ReplyDeleteI sure want to thank you for sending Sonny & Joey to visit and comment. Now I know I'm up and working once again and will be watching for spammers and be much more careful about getting rid of the jerks!

ReplyDeleteit is sad that spam causes us so much trouble - i had to stop anonomous comments because my inbox was getting full of spam comments wanting to be published - they were not, but it bothered me greatly

Sadly it doesn't seem to matter which blog company you use the spammers find a way - I get them on w/press - luckily 'they' get put to one side for me to delete.

ReplyDeleteGlad things worked out for Mountain Mama. There's so much I don't know about the blog that I appreciate any help and advice I can get. It doesn't hurt to try. I just read on someone's blog about reducing spam by setting my comment verification to anything older than 14 days. It's worked... so far.
