  4. LL Cool Joe -- So I have to ask, does your partner turn to YOU for good advice?

Lynn -- So I'm guessing your business associates, your church, your pastor...and oops, I left out siblings. I'm betting you would also choose siblings.

Sonny -- Both of my children give me back my own words quite often. It is nice to know they were listening. Hope everyone sees your Holiday Header giveaway on my sidebar. That will be a neat prize to win. And yes, I'm feeling great. Hoping doctors will reduce some of my restrictions this week.

  5. When I need good advice I'm very careful who I ask. I ask people who have had to make similar decisions in the past and who I perceive as successful. These are who I go to. (first I pray for guidance and mull it over for awhile, and then someone or several people come to mind).

  8. When I'm really mad and want to bounce an outlandish solution off of my wife like threatening to sterilize someone, she usually calms me down and suggests letting doctors do things like that. I guess generally she tries to buy time until I come to my senses.
Since most of my big problems involve people vs. people I almost always ask the individual parties involved for advice on how to fix their own problem, which almost 100% of the time makes them realize that they didn't need to get someone else involved to start with and that they can solve it themselves.

  9. One of my daughters. I can always get good advice from her, even if I don't agree with her answer. I might ask mr. kenju, just to see what he says, but I never agree with him....lol

  13. It depends on the type of advice I need... Mr. Cube, my parents, my siblings, my doctor, my in-laws, my blog buddies, but not necessarily in that order. It really depends on the nature of the advice.

  14. I have a few good friends that I ask from time to time, but like one of the commenters have said, it all depends on the type.

  18. Seriously Though -- You've got a good system there.

Bonnie -- My dad was my life mentor. My spouse provides great wisdom as well.

Riot Kitty -- Looks like there is more than one feeling that way.

Cliff -- Just think how dangerous you would be without Marilyn. She keeps you from running amok.

kenju -- My daughter has proved her wisdom to me through my current illnesses. She knows how to calm my fears.

Whitemist -- So true! Guess we can choose to not ask for advice and truly make a mess of things. lol

Kay -- Good directions to go. You also seem to learn a lot from your mother still.

Chatty Crone -- I should go to my husband first because he is so wise, but I fear i go first to my big sister who has been my primary adviser since I was born

cube -- Excellent answer. It should depend on the category and which of your resources is the best to ask.

G.B. Miller -- Yep, that seems to be a good direction.

Pat -- My husband and my son are both resources with vast knowledge in my life too.

Shionge -- How many "best friends" do you have?

    ashok -- Absolutely!
