# 26 ALERT FOR SMARTPHONE USERS

This is post is number 26 in the marathon.

Smartphone pictures pose privacy risks

This was the most shocking news I have heard in a long time.  Thankfully I do not have a Smartphone but everyone I know does and watch to the end because you can see how to fix this problem.

Wow - I immediately went to my phone and turned Location Services to Off.

Lynn -- Okay, now if you get lost in the woods, be sure to turn it back on. Wasn't that scary?

Our eye doctor actually prescribed reading glasses for Ron. He buys them at the dollar store and they last a long time, then he just buys another pair. He would never wear zebra.

I can't figure out how to turn location services on so I think I'm safe. Also If I post from my phone I'll simply make sure I'm in the pic and that should take care of anyone wanting to find me.

Cliff -- And it doesn't break the camera in the phone?

I knew about the GPS thing when they first came out-
I'm sure everyone's cell info is tracked anyhow, n the info sold to those who want researcg stats for businesses-
