Rx AND DIAGNOSIS

This is our staging area just for Ron's medications, BP kit, Pulse ox and thermometer. I am quite sure I will be eligible to hang out a shingle soon as NURSE GRANNY ANNIE, Medical Assistant, if the patient doesn't decide to fire me first. That could happen soon because I'm pretty sure I heard him whispering something about "Nurse Ratched" the other day.

  2. I was a HeeHaw fan. I think you should hire Nurse Goodbody who was Archie Campbells assistant. She's probably grown out of her nursing outfit by now because she had almost grown out of it back then. But it might bring your patient around pretty fast.
On the blogs below,,,are you afraid someone might get your goat?
I'm off to drive 40 miles to watch a 9 year old play softball.

  4. Dani -- Will Sampson was from Okmulgee and would play pool with the guys back in the 60's. It was really cool to see him in that movie. That was one of the best movies of all times.

Cliff -- Oh my, you and my husband are cut of the same cloth. We watch Hee Haw reruns and get to see Nurse Goodbody often. Yes, I know he would prefer her to me or Nurse Ratched. LOL

Riot Kitty -- I don't have any hair and I doubt I could find a wig like that...but maybe. That would really give Ron a scare. LOL

  7. I played nurse to my husband for awhile after he had his heart bypass... finally my SIL said let him do it for himself... So I bought the large pill box and loaded it up a couple of times... Now he is very good at setting up the box, but still forgets to take his morning pills every now and then...LOL

  10. Chatty Crone -- Thank you Sandie)

Changes in the wind -- Before I set up that work station, I found myself running from pillar to post to gather up each dose due at the various times during the day. It seems we were getting some new prescriptions every day that added to the already huge list.

ancient one -- I am longing for the day he is strong enough for me to say "do it yourself". I am pretty sure he is too:)

Sonny -- Thank you for that vote of confidence:)

Rachel -- Oh my, you have done this for so long you make me feel ashamed to be such a cry baby. You are my hero!

station is a good idea. I am so sorry you both have to go through with this. My prayers are with you both. I am so glad to be back and blogging again, that is all I wanted to do - come home to my computer and the friends within it. It is easy to get the time wrong after a change of the clocks and we all forget at times
Take very good care of the two of you dear friend.Much Love, Merle.
