Rx AND DIAGNOSIS
This is our staging area just for Ron's medications, BP kit, Pulse ox and thermometer. I am quite sure I will be eligible to hang out a shingle soon as NURSE GRANNY ANNIE, Medical Assistant, if the patient doesn't decide to fire me first. That could happen soon because I'm pretty sure I heard him whispering something about "Nurse Ratched" the other day.

ReplyDeleteI was a HeeHaw fan. I think you should hire Nurse Goodbody who was Archie Campbells assistant. She's probably grown out of her nursing outfit by now because she had almost grown out of it back then. But it might bring your patient around pretty fast.

ReplyDeleteDani -- Will Sampson was from Okmulgee and would play pool with the guys back in the 60's. It was really cool to see him in that movie. That was one of the best movies of all times.
ReplyDeleteCliff -- Oh my, you and my husband are cut of the same cloth. We watch Hee Haw reruns and get to see Nurse Goodbody often. Yes, I know he would prefer her to me or Nurse Ratched. LOL
Riot Kitty -- I don't have any hair and I doubt I could find a wig like that...but maybe. That would really give Ron a scare. LOL

ReplyDeleteYou so what you gotta do and I think your medical station is a great idea....never forget to take your meds...never have to go look for your meds....can get it all done at one time.
ReplyDeleteI played nurse to my husband for awhile after he had his heart bypass... finally my SIL said let him do it for himself... So I bought the large pill box and loaded it up a couple of times... Now he is very good at setting up the box, but still forgets to take his morning pills every now and then...LOL

ReplyDeleteChanges in the wind -- Before I set up that work station, I found myself running from pillar to post to gather up each dose due at the various times during the day. It seems we were getting some new prescriptions every day that added to the already huge list.
ancient one -- I am longing for the day he is strong enough for me to say "do it yourself". I am pretty sure he is too:)
