ANNIE HAD A LITTLE GOAT

Annie had a little goat
It's fleece was brown and black
When Annie found it in the pen
She almost had a heart attack!

Here are photos of our new arrival. We have named this newborn goat Cole to honor Ron's cancer doctor. We do not know yet if Cole is a boy or girl. The proud and devoted mother is Polly. Two more of our goats are pregnant but nothing is happening with them yet.

Yes Ron is home from the hospital and so far so good. He is not back to normal, but he is certainly feeling better than when they admitted him last Friday. Hopefully we will have a break from treatments and travel for at least a week.

  3. So happy Ron is home.

Question when the goats give birth and then turn around and see a little thing walking around do they really freak out???

  5. Tabor -- Thanks for the well wishes.

Changes in the wind -- Love baby animals too. Right now we have the baby goat and four new kittens. Plus we have a hen (Mr. Gibson) on a nest of eggs so maybe chicks soon.

Brown English Muffin -- So far my goats that have had kids don't really seem to care about the baby until their milk is overflowing then they know that little critter might be good to give them some relief. Polly caught on a lot quicker than Elizabeth did last year.

Talon -- I cannot tell you how often we keep repeating that phrase..."There's no place like home, there's no place like home, there's .,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,"
