QUESTION OF THE WEEK
Are there any calories in broken cookies?

FYI -- As of this morning I have lost 22 pounds in 8 weeks:)
Congratulations on the weight loss, Annie! That's amazing!
And to answer the question if you only eat one little piece, I think you consume less calories, unless it's like potato chips and no one can eat just one! ;)
This is outstanding. I wish I could post something similar. Now that I am with my daughter I have had to abandon all physical exercise as most of my time is dressing and undressing little ones or preparing food or doing laundry! UGH! So post what worked the best for you.
Grammie – Actually the plan I’m on allows me to have a whole cookie once in a while:) It is taking a lot of discipline and I could not have done it before I got the sleep help I needed. That part gave me a whole new lease on life. Thanks for you applause.
Lulu – Guess I better go buy a McFlurry! Thanks for your kind words and support. I just read over at Lynn’s that you haven’t ever seen Steel Magnolias. You better get to that right away.
LL Cool Joe – Thank you so much. I hope I can keep it up. My original goal was 84 pounds and now I’m over a quarter of the way there.
Nancy – Thanks Nancy. Yep, I am giving Slim a run for her money. LOL Did you know that the diet of the Aborigines is to eat and not swallow?
Tabor – It really doesn’t sound like you have abandoned physical exercise. If anything taking care of a young family is more exercise than many of us get. Certainly am hoping for the best for your daughter and the baby. I am riding my exercise bike every day as well as my routine care of spouse and livestock and I am following the Alli plan religiously and taking three pills a day.
JeanMac – Thanks a lot. I am pretty impressed with myself and hope I can keep this up. It takes a lot of careful meal planning but the effort is worth the result.
A.W.E.S.O.M.E! You rock. Someone told me that calories don't count if you're out of town. If that was true I'd be crossing the county line for a McFlurry!
This is philosophy at its noblest... well little grasshopper take my humble advice and only eat between the crack lines and the calories will leave you alone. and big time congrats on losing 22 pounds... Way to go girl !!!
It's really easy to get addicted to cookies! Wow, you get to eat one? AND you lost all that weight already? Wow! Kudos. That depends, I prefer soft-baked Oatmeal with raisins n less brown sugar, then it's even good for you!
